We are pleased to have 2 second-hand TURBOWINDS T600 wind turbines
(double speed 600/120kW 60Hz, 50 meters hub height)
for sale at a very reasonable price: SENSIBLE OFFERS WELCOME!
They were made in 2002 and have been working in Canada only since 2005
These two turbines are less than 12 years old since build and have been in operation for less than 10 years.
Both can be quickly brought up to full working order by having the necessary repairs effected, namely-
- rebuild of the ABB generator for one turbine, and for the other;
- sealing of the leaking cylinder inside the hub, using standard seal kits, for the other, plus replacement capacitors, replacement blade bearing seals, and some minor repairs inside the hub.
Dismantling has not commenced yet and will be complete in 2015. The price does NOT include dismantling/packing/transportation, which must be added to the cost.
Once the repairs listed below have been affected, these turbines will be ready for re-commissioning and grid connection.
- One wind turbine has a damaged ABB generator (rebuild cost is approx. CAD 30,000)
- The second wind turbine has a leaking pitch cylinder inside the hub (seal kits for repair are available)
- Also needs new capacitor units (120kVAR & 50kVAR)
- New seals required for the blade bearings
- Minor repairs required inside the hub
